Ophelia is a 6 m9nth old, spirited gal who has lots to say and lots to love. One of her deepest loves is for food. She loves long cuddles on the couch or in the bed. Most of all she loves to communicate all of her emotion sand is quick to spill the tea. Ophelia is happy golucky. Walks on a leash, gets along with all her lab friends, loves the cats, the kids and car rides. Ophelia sleeps in a crate at night and when in the house needs supervision to ensure she gets potty breaks. She has a serious case of fear of mising out and get busy playing. However, very easy to mange. Come out and meet Ophelia she is a real gem.
Ophelia is a puppy we kept from our one and only litter of bassets. We own Norma, her mother and kept Ophelia for hopes of her being a show dog. Ophelia isn't much for the spot light unless its on her terms. While she might not have a career of being in the dog beauty pagent she sure does make an excellent companion. Ophelia is laid back and easy going.

Meet Norma Jean
Norma is a true Basset Hound through and through — nose to the ground, ears flapping, and opinions always ready to be shared. She’s surprisingly drivey and loves to hunt, following a scent like it’s her full-time job. When she’s not working her nose, Norma is all about comfort, happily settling in for a good nap like she’s earned it (because she has). Quick to bark, talk, and sing her houndy songs, Norma keeps everyone entertained with her adorable commentary. Equal parts determined, cozy, and completely lovable — life with Norma is never quiet and never boring.
Norma has had a quick fast and steady show career. Doing very well at specialty shows and all-breed. Norma is a true show dog and show dog star. She enters the building with her tail held high and her nose to the ground. Her favorite part is making around that ring as fast as she can hit the ramp. She stares longingly into every judges eyes and warms their heart.
Hoping to take Norma to a few more field trips and let her work the rabbits. Norma will catch them in the yard, on walks or even when we are out camping. Norma is a perfect farm dog as well. Always looking for the next snack.
